Following a 20+ year career in hospitality, owning, operating, and marketing a vast portfolio of Las Vegas day and nightlife venues, Todd Worz has turned a new leaf, entering into the budding Cannabis Industry in Nevada.
As the President of TapRoot Brands, a locally owned and operated cannabis company in Nevada, Todd oversees all aspects of the business, including development of the marketing strategy, expanding the company’s presence in the industry, building strong partnerships through sales, and managing projects for the company's future growth.

A native of Cincinnati, Ohio, Todd Worz broke ground in Las Vegas as a promoter for the House of Blues and Spundae in 2001, also assisting in the construction of Light, Bellagio’s premier nightclub.
Through his growing Rolodex of contacts, Todd landed the position of Doorman at Randy Gerber’s Whiskey Sky. During this time, he regularly commuted to run the door of the A-List Nightclub located in Hollywood, CA.
In 2002, the opportunity came to work at Baby’s in the Hard Rock Hotel, providing Todd the liberty to run the door and VIP services, manage promotions, as well as, assist the GM in nightly operations of the club. Concurrently, he extended his talents to hosting at Foundation Room’s Godspeed on Monday nights in Mandalay Bay.
By 2004, an exciting change unveiled Body English, Hard Rock Hotel’s lavishly remodeled nightclub. Together with partners Cory McCormack, Shannon Dupont, Mike Myers, Shawn Chester and Greg Costello, this team created a venue that is still revered as one of Las Vegas' most legendary nightclubs.
In January of 2007, Todd faced the decision of either staying with the Hard Rock under the new management of the Morgan’s Hotel Group or leaving his 5 year term and moving forward to new opportunities.
February welcomed Todd to a new home in the Venetian Resort Hotel & Casino. As a Senior Host/Lead Doorman, he could be found at the gates of TAO Nightclub greeting club goers with the same enthusiasm and enterprise for which he has become known for over the years.
Beginning in March of 2008, he accepted the Director of VIP Marketing position for TAO Beach. Having concluded the most successful season on record, business was up nearly 50%.
Climbing the ranks once again, Todd became the Director of Customer Development for all TAO Group's Las Vegas properties.
In 2010, Worz branched off and developed NightlifeLeader.com, an innovative day and nightlife resource that changed the way guests experienced some of the largest venues in the world.
In 2011, Chateau & Gallery Nightclubs made Todd an offer to return to the game as Vice President of Strategic Marketing for both venues, which he proudly accepted and successfully launched.
2012 brought forth a great opportunity to work for The One Group(STK) & Bagatelle America as their Director of Operation Marketing for Bagatelle Las Vegas; a restaurant, nightclub & beach club that opened in October.
In September of 2017, Todd, and long time friend Jonathan Fine, evolved their friendship into a business partnership, purchasing a run down tavern in the heart of Las Vegas.
Inspired by the fabulous history of the city, the two created a mid-century classic, known as The MINT Tavern. The MINT offers 24-hour gaming, cocktails and live entertainment. Conveniently located 1 block West of Sahara and Las Vegas Boulevard, next to the city's most beloved steakhouse, The Golden Steer.
From 2019-2020, Todd held the role of Director of Marketing for MGM Resorts Events & Nightlife, as well as "Jemaa" at The NoMad Pool, NoMad Bar & Restaurant and Primrose Lobby Bar. Working under long time friend, Sean Christie (President of MGM Nightlife & Events), this team worked hard to operate and market 23 bars, restaurants, nightclubs, pools and a sports book, all within MGM Resorts International. Unfortunately, the Events & Nightlife division was laid off, in March of 2020, due to Covid-19 regulations and subsequent loss of business, city-wide.
In March of 2022, the Cannabis Industry came calling, as Todd joined good friends: Shane Terry & Dana Hodges, at their company TapRoot Brands, as their Director of Sales & Marketing. TapRoot is a Battle Born cannabis manufacturing and wholesale facility located in Las Vegas. Producing 100% cannabis oil vapes, tinctures, concentrates, syringes and more.
In October of the same year, Todd was elevated to President of the company, where he oversees much of the day to day operations, along with project management of the company's future growth. TapRoot's in-house brand Roots, was awarded "Best Vape" and "Best Extract" in Vegas, by Las Vegas WEEKLY in November of 2022 and recently won 3rd Place in two categories: "Best Badder/Budder" & "Best Tincture" in Nevada's Cannabis Awards Music Festival in July of 2023.
